Meet the Engineers
Ben Burke, PE
President | Project Manager | Principal Engineer
Ben brings nearly three decades of hands-on engineering experience to every project. As the founder and principal engineer, he leads the firm's design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems with a practical, grounded approach. His background is a unique blend — ten years in the construction field, eight years as a building systems engineer with NCDOT, and over twenty years leading his own firm.

Scott Burke, PE
Professional Engineer | Engineering Manager
Scott has been working at BDG full time for 7 years with 15 years of total experience. He focuses on project coordination, construction management, and engineering design. His work includes HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Alarm Design, with a focus on electrical systems and services. Scott takes lead on construction administration and in-process review, functioning as the primary engineer coordinating the engineering disciplines.
